La Vie en Rose by Escada
Jessie wearing the most stunning pants I’ve ever seen. Made out of a bubble gum shade of pink silk by the German brand Escada.
These pants will blow your mind: 1940’s inspired, old Hollywood elegance. Wide legged, extra palazzo, maxi length and high waisted. Drapes nicely.
… And best of all: Tie-dye print, soft pink at the waist that gradually becomes a darker shade of pink, reminding me to a Californian sunset.
About the brand: American-born Wolfgang and his Swedish-born wife Margaretha Ley founded their design house in Munich in 1976, naming it Escada after a racehorse they won money betting on. They began as a sportswear designer brand which they expanded at the early 1980s, becoming one of the most prominent design houses.
Margaretha Ley was the chief designer until she died in 1992, and one of the amazing pieces they designed during those years is the beautiful pink coat which will last you a lifetime.
